The Skydog Woody Project Guitar magic. This album was recorded using Duane Allmans 1957 Gibson Gold top. As well as Allen Woody’s 1975 Thunderbird bass. Joe Davis on vocals and guitar, Garry Harper on bass guitar. Patrick Daniel Trombly drums. David Krol keyboards. The song Layla off the album is not for sale it is a free version. In 2009 through mutual conversation, between Ihra race car driver Scot Lamar and Joe Davis, The Skydog Woody Project Guitar Magic was created. With the blessing from Allen Woody’s father who was friends with Garry, and the blessing of Warren Haynes prior to release. We released this album. It made its way to writer Alan Paul and Guitar World (.com)google “guitar lust” on Guitar Worlds website. Layla is the only version of that song that was actually re recording with the original Layla guitar. The entire album was recorded with vintage Marshalls, real drums, and the antique sonic beauty of the two instruments involved. Allman inspired album of original material.
